In my 19 years of bartending, I had to think of many creative ways to deal with difficult customers. If you need some inspiration, I believe I have some ideas that you have never tried. Just describe scenarios and customers (real or examples) that you have a difficult or unpleasant time dealing with, and I will respond with ideas of how I would deal with those customers without letting them get me down, and probably even having a lot of fun with it. Difficult customers can end up being entertaining or allies, if you handle the situation in creative, fun ways.
